(a)-(c) Main Roads is undertaking an extensive program of community and stakeholder engagement in relation to the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) Project.
The Community Reference Groups (CRGs) are one of the forums used to facilitate and enhance communication and collaboration with the various communities of interest. Many view have been represented regarding the project and the community engagement program. While some concern has been raised about the CRGs, it is important to understand that this forum is not a decision making body and several of the issues raised by those who have expressed a lack of confidence in the process fall outside the remit of this group.
The CRGs have both recorded their support for the BORR project and indicated their intention to continue to attend the forum and work collaboratively with Main Roads and the BORR Team. Several CRG members have also stated their support for the process and acknowledged the professional conduct of the project team.
