I refer to the Labor election commitment to provide body armour to Western Australian police officers, and I ask: (a) what is the status of the election commitment; (b) what work has been undertaken to deliver the commitment in the 12 months since the State election; (c) when can officers expect to receive the personal protective equipment promised to them; and (d) what funding has been allocated in the 2017-18 budget, or forward estimates, for the procurement of this equipment?
