I refer the Minister to the Small Business Development Corporation's (SBDC) Business Local program, and ask: (a) how many tenders were submitted in the most recent
round to deliver the agency’s Business Local program; (b) of the tenders submitted, how many were from
metropolitan Perth and how many were regionally based; (c) how many of the tenders were from providers who were
delivering the service previously; (d) how many of the previous providers were successful in
getting another tender; and (e) did the SBDC have a representative on 'WA Government Procurement' during the process
of awarding the tenders related to the Business Local program?

(a) A total of 35 tenders were submitted in the most recent round to deliver the Business Local program;
(b) Of the 35 tenders submitted, 18 were from metropolitan Perth, 15 were regionally based and two were interstate based;
(c) Nine tenders were from providers who were delivering the service previously;
(d) All but one of the previous providers were successful in getting another tender; and
(e) The SBDC did have a representative on ‘WA Government Procurement’ during the process of awarding the tenders related to the Business Local program.
