ESPERANCE PORT AUTHORITY —NICKEL EXPORT BAN
Mr C.J. BARNETT

AnswerView source ↗

A consultative group has been set up to canvass all the issues involving nickel. There has been monitoring through the Department of Health and the Environmental Protection Authority. The government is not concealing anything at all. Ms A.J.G. MacTiernan : Will the Premier provide the Esperance community with all the reports on this issue? Mr C.J. BARNETT : During the week the member accused me of not making something available. I then made it available and she did not even thank me. Ms A.J.G. MacTiernan : You gave me a summary of one meeting. Mr C.J. BARNETT : If the member makes a proper request for a report to be made public, I will look at the request on its merits and if there is no reason the report cannot be made public, I will make it public.
