The Department of Corrective Services advises:
(a) During 2015-16, the total maximum cost per day to manage a Dangerous Sexual Offender (DSO) in the community was $181 per offender.
(b) Of the $181 total maximum cost per day to manage a DSO in the community, $56.60 per offender per day is estimated to be the cost of electronic monitoring.
