I again refer the Premier to his vote-buying announcement today of free entry to the Perth Royal Show at a cost of $1.75 million, because it is “a colourful, exciting and timeless tradition that all our children should have the opportunity to enjoy and remember”. (1) Given that this magnanimous gesture is supposedly aimed at allowing all children access to the royal show, why has the Government chosen to distribute this concession through one newspaper only rather than upon entry to the show? (2) If this is supposed to benefit all children - Mr N.R. Marlborough interjected. The SPEAKER: Order, member for Peel! Mr D.F.
