No such representations have been made to me by industry groups. I encourage dialogue between my office and the Minister for Agriculture's office about the proper and humane care and management of production animals in Western Australia.
The Government is committed to managing animal welfare with a high level of professionalism. In the case of production animals, a professional approach includes collaboration between the Department of Local Government, other agencies and industry.
