(1) Does Rangeview Remand Centre juvenile justice facility have a dedicated psychiatric unit? (2) Does Rangeview juvenile justice facility have trained psychiatric nurses employed on either a full-time or part-time basis; and, if yes, how many are employed in each category? (3) When will juveniles currently held on remand at Rangeview juvenile justice facility be relocated to Banksia Hill Detention Centre? (4) A contract with a private contractor for the provision of operational services at the young adults facility, including custodial and support services, is scheduled to be in place in September 2011. The period from September 2011 to December 2011 will allow for commissioning of the young adults facility, with the first adults anticipated in late December 2011 or early January 2012.
