I refer to the intersection of Manning Road and Leach Highway in my electorate and the fact that trucks longer than 19 metres are banned from using Leach Highway at this point, and I ask: (a) has any of your agencies monitored the number of trucks using the Leach Hwy at this intersection during the last 12 months: (i) If yes, when did this occur, and what were the number of trucks over 19 metres counted at that point; (b) are there cameras at this intersection capable of monitoring vehicles: (i) If yes, can these cameras identify trucks that are longer than 19 metres; and (c) how many infringements have been issued in the last twelve months to trucks longer than 19 metres at this intersection?

(b) Yes, the cameras at this intersection monitor traffic flow and detect any incidents (crash/congestion).
(i) Yes, the cameras at this intersection monitor traffic flow and detect any incidents (crash/congestion) however  vehicles in excess of 19 metres are permitted on this section of road to undertake local deliveries.
(c) Nil. The area in question is regularly patrolled by Main Roads Transport Inspectors and no breaches by vehicles in excess of 19 metres have been observed. The Inspectors will continue to patrol the area.
