MUCHEA LIVESTOCK CENTRE — TRANSPORT NEEDS 216. Mr G. WOODHAMS to the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure: Given that the government is building the state livestock selling centre at Muchea and the critical need for appropriate transport routes to that transport facility — (1) What plans are in place to upgrade the main east-west link—that is, Julimar Road, Chittering Road and East Muchea Road—in the Shires of Toodyay and Chittering? (2) Will the minister undertake to make this route the responsibility of Main Roads; and, if not, why not?
