With reference to answers to question No. 124 of Thursday, 1 April 2010 and the development of the Balla Balla magnetite project by, I ask -
(1) Were any of the 29 Aboriginal heritage sites in the Balla Balla project area impacted or destroyed?
(2) In respect of (1), has the Department of Indigenous Affairs visited the site to confirm that no impact took place on these sites or others that may have not been recorded?
(3) If no to (2), why not?

1. I am not aware that any of the 29 Aboriginal heritage sites in the Balla Balla project have been impacted or destroyed.
2. No.
3. The Department of Indigenous Affairs has not been requested to visit the Balla Balla project area.
