(2) Taking into account all development costs, what is the expected effective subsidy per hectare of irrigation land to be sold in Ord stage 2?

(1) There have been no briefing notes provided by Treasury.
(2) There is no effective subsidy associated with the development. The current estimated Government investment of $322m will create at least $75m in private land clearing, $100m in increased agricultural turnover per annum, improved Indigenous engagement in the economy and has already attracted a further $195m in Commonwealth funding to the region.
