I refer the Minister to the Small Business Commissioner’s report into the Construction Subcontractor Investigation, page 56, and I ask will the Minister make it the policy of Building Management and Works (BMW) to refer all suspicious statutory declarations to a person within BMW assigned primarily to the task of monitoring payment performance and that person, under the supervision of the delivery manager, refer non-compliant statutory declarations to the police for investigation, and liaise with the police in respect of investigation and prosecution?
