Forensic health workforce
337. Hon Michelle Boylan to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Health:
I refer to the
forensic health workforce in Western Australia.
(1) As of 1 June 2025, how many forensic nurses
and forensic medical officers are employed across the WA public health system,
and what proportion is based outside the metropolitan area?
(2) What funding has been allocated over the last
three years to train, recruit and retain forensic health professionals in
regional Western Australia?
(3) Has the government considered establishing a
mobile forensic response service or rotating regional forensic teams to improve
access for survivors in rural communities?
