I refer to the code of conduct for registrants and lobbyists under the
Integrity (Lobbyists) Act 2016
, and the requirements for communication and standards of conduct between registered lobbyists and government representatives, and ask:
(a) does the Minister's office, and agency/department(s) within the Minister's portfolio, have administration governance processes in place to ensure compliance with the Code and enable auditable records of contact between government representatives and registered lobbyists;
(b) in the last 12 months, has there been contact between government representatives within the Minister's portfolio and a registered lobbyist on behalf of a client, in which:
(i) the nature of contact constitutes lobbying activities; and
(ii) the nature of the client’s or clients’ issues relate to resources and/or environmental interests; and
(c) if yes to (b), please outline:
(i) the position of the government representative;
(ii) the name of the registered lobbyist;
(iii) name of the client or clients represented; and
(iv) the nature of the client’s or client's issue(s)?
