2) The State Government provides the option of contracts for specified periods of time for its senior executives. Such arrangements allow for regular changes in personnel and can foster new innovation, creativity, fresh ideas and best business practice. Mr Etrelezis was employed under such contract arrangements for an initial year as acting Managing Director and for a further 10 years as Managing Director (ie. 2 contract periods of five years). Mr Etrelezis has had the benefit of being appointed for 11 years through these contract arrangements. 3) Refer to the answer to question 2.
