(2) Accreditation was awarded by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). (3) Fremantle Hospital and Health Service (including Woodside Hospital) was awarded accreditation status. (4) One recommendation directly relating to Woodside Hospital was received following the Organisational Wide Survey in 2002. Recommendation OWS08021.3.2_2: The organisation undertake a benchmarking exercise with other facilities in relation to certain clinical indicator groups collected at Woodside Maternity Hospital in order to ensure that best practice principles are being practiced in the facility. This recommendation was signed off as completed by ACHS surveyors at the subsequent Periodic Review conducted in October 2004. No further recommendations relating to Woodside Hospital were received.
