(a-d) The Mental Health Commission (MHC) does not directly recurrently fund the
'StandBy Response Service'. It is funded by the Commonwealth therefore all detailed requests for information should be requested from the Commonwealth Minister.
(e) In 2011, the MHC provided $536,000 to Anglicare WA for enhanced postvention support in the Kimberley. The MHC also provided $164,000 to enable the backfilling of Kinway staff as cover for the StandBy Response Service (Kinway is a division of Anglicare WA).
In 2012, in a partnership with the Commonwealth, Department of Health and Ageing,
the MHC provided $83,600 to contribute towards a StandBy Crisis Response Team worker in Derby for 12 months.
(f) The MHC is currently liaising with Standby regarding potential support for initiatives during 2015.
