I refer to the list of successful grants on the Lotterywest website for 2014-15, and I ask: (a) can the Premier please detail the number of applications received by Lotterywest, but rejected by the grants team over the corresponding application rounds from each suburb?

Lotterywest advise:
(a) In 2014/15, the Lotterywest Grants and Community Development team recommended to the Board and Premier that 36 grant applications should not be supported. These are shown by suburb of the applicant organisations' office location in the table below. It is important to note that many of these grants may impact a much broader area.
The majority of these applications were unsuccessful in a competitive grant round process. Others were not supported where proposals were outside Lotterywest's remit of supporting activities that are charitable and/or benevolent, viability of the project could not be established or activities were associated with competitively sourced contracts.
