METRONET — WORKS — LAWFUL COMPLIANCE
1231. Hon Dr BRIAN WALKER to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer the minister to the
government's Metronet commitments, particularly those in my electorate
of East Metropolitan Region.
(1) Is it the
policy of the Cook government that all work undertaken in relation to the
rollout of Metronet, be it by government employees or by contractors, should be
carried out in a lawful fashion?
(2) If yes to
(1), is there a standard clause in the contracts the government enters into
with businesses that makes this expectation of lawful compliance explicit?
