I refer to the appointment of Dr Neale Fong to the position of Acting Director General of the Health Department, and his positions as Executive Chairman, Health Reform and Implementation Taskforce and Chief Executive, North Metropolitan Area Health Service, and ask -
(1) Can the Minister confirm -
(a) the pay arrangements for Dr Fong including the term of his contract announced in June of this year and any performance bonuses;
(b) whether Dr Fong will be given any additional pay or allowances for his new role as Acting Director General of the Health Department; and
(c) if yes to (b), please detail the additional pay or allowances Dr Fong will be entitled to?
(2) Can the Minister advise -
(a) where is Dr Fong’s office located;
(b) how much rent is paid for that office per year; and
(c) who pays the rent on Dr Fong’s office?
(3) Can the Minister advise how many staff are employed at Dr Fong’s office -
(a) as permanent public servants (including levels and increments); and
