NICKEL INDUSTRY
36. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
There has been lots of dialogue but no real action to date. Why does the
Premier not get on the phone and speak to the former Premier, a BHP consultant,
to work through this situation and enable the state's industry to be
protected?

AnswerView source ↗

I do not need to speak with consultants;
I actually spoke with BHP myself this morning. That is what you get from a WA
Labor government—a government that works directly with industry and
continues to support it so that it continues to create great Western Australian
jobs.
