I refer the minister to the communiqué from the February 2006 Council of Australian Governments meeting that legislative, regulatory, and education barriers to school-based apprenticeships be removed from all jurisdictions by 31 December 2006. (1) Will the government meet the COAG requirement on school-based apprenticeships? (2) If yes to (1), when will the legislative, regulatory and education barriers be removed.
