(1) Will the Minister confirm that the 10 per cent levy on the turnover of taxis and on demand transport will commence on 1 April 2019? (2) Will the Minister provide the department's estimate of the number of vehicles to which the levy will apply? (3) Will the Minister confirm that electric vehicles will be exempt from the levy? (4) Will the Minister confirm that Swan Taxis has ordered 1,500 electric vehicles? (5) Is the Minister aware of a report that Uber intends to close its Perth office? (6) If Uber does close its Perth office, what procedure will the Government follow to extract the 10 per cent levy from the international headquarters of Uber? (7) If the 10 per cent levy proves unworkable, whether because of exemptions for electric vehicles or lack of cooperation by operators or for any other reason, will the Government adopt instead a flat levy of $75 per week per vehicle?
