ADAM SPAGNOLO AND TONY DRAGO - CITY OF BAYSWATER CARPET DEALS
I refer to the fact that Mr Adam Spagnolo has been charged with corruption arising from the carpet deals involving the City of Bayswater. (1) Are the police investigating anyone else in relation to the carpet deals, including carpet business owner Mr Tony Drago? (2) If not, will the minister now request the Commissioner of Police to comprehensively investigate the actions of Mr Drago in relation to the City of Bayswater carpet deals? Mr J.B. D’ORAZIO

(1)-(2) I am unaware of any of the investigations. This matter has come to the fore over a period of time. I am unaware of any investigation being undertaken by the CCC or the police, and nor should I be aware. I have nothing further to add to this matter. The important thing in this whole equation is that in relation to my conduct, I have been cleared totally of any illegal, corrupt or other deal.
