JACCOLETTI HILL JOINT VENTURE
Will the minister make available the monthly returns - form 27 - for the joint venture at Jaccoletti Hill, undertaken by Reynolds Metals Company, Diaspa and others for the period April 1993 to January 1994? The mining lease number is 77/112, and it is located in the Yilgarn goldfields at Marvel Loch. I have permission from Mr Murphy of Diaspa to access the requested information. Hon KEN TRAVERS

I thank the member for some notice of this question. I am advised that the department has received monthly production reports - form 27 - for mining lease 77/112 for the period April 1993 to January 1994. However, the department has received advice from the Crown Solicitor’s Office that records for a tenement that is still current, as is the case with mining lease 77/112, can be released only with the written consent of the current tenement holder.
