We have a $3.2 billion
health infrastructure program that is undertaking a systematic transformation
of hospitals across Western Australia, including the biggest regional spend in
a hospital at Bunbury, of course, the Geraldton redevelopment, which the WA
Liberals and Nationals never did, and Laverton—
Mr Basil Zempilas interjected.
The Speaker: Leader of the Opposition, you have asked
the question. Let the minister respond.
Mr John Carey: They get very sensitive.
Ms Sandra Brewer interjected.
The Speaker: Member for Cottesloe, this is not your
question.
Mr Lachlan Hunter interjected.
The Speaker: Member for Central Wheatbelt, this is not
your question either.
Mr John Carey: Yes, the member's performance in the
debate yesterday really put him in good stead.
The Speaker: Minister!
Mr Lachlan Hunter interjected.
The Speaker: Member for Central Wheatbelt!
Mr John Carey: What I will say is that we are overseeing
record investment of $3.2 billion across the hospital system. It is a massive
investment.
Ms Sandra Brewer interjected.
The Speaker: Member for Cottesloe, I am calling you
for the first time.
Mr John Carey: As I have already said, the project is
underway and will be delivered.
