(1) No expenditure for new plant, fossil or renewable is forecast in the forward estimates. The forward estimates include around $200 million to maintain existing fossil fuel plant and around $3.5 billion in forecast expenditure from Western Power on the transmission and distribution network.
(2) As per the published Budget papers between 2005-06 and 2015-16 total renewable generation plant capital expenditure is around $92 million and fossil fuel based generation plant capital expenditure is around $1.4 billion.
