INDIGENOUS
FAMILY VIOLENCE LEGAL SERVICE
299. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
Attorney General:
I refer to the government's commitment to provide
$600 000 a year for a dedicated family and domestic violence support service
for Indigenous Australians, and to the answer to question without notice 85,
which in part states —
I hope to be in a position to
announce the successful proponent within the next four weeks.
(1) Now that
four weeks have passed, who is the successful proponent?
(2) If the
government is unable to announce the successful proponent, when will the
government be able to announce the successful proponent?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1)–(2)
A successful proponent has been chosen, but is yet to be notified. This will
occur within the next week.
