2) Landowners have generally been advised that it takes in the order of 6 – 8 weeks to obtain valuations and submit the matter to the Western Australian Planning Commission to consider making an offer to purchase. 3 & 4) Individual properties vary in complexity and the need for contract plans to be prepared, therefore times have varied. 5) I have no knowledge of any such promise. There is a 10% 'Solatium', which is a statutory head of claim payable in respect of land compulsorily taken for public works. No land has been compulsorily taken for the proposed Peel Region Scheme.
