(a) The Regulations facilitate the implementation of the Criminal Code Amendment (Prohibition on Display of Nazi Symbols or Gesture) Act 2024 (Act). The Act inserts new section 80Y(6) into The Criminal Code , which provides that the Commissioner of Police must ensure that notice of a revocation of a Nazi symbol removal notice is served by a method authorised in regulations on a person in certain circumstances. The Regulations set out what the authorised methods of service are.
(b) The Western Australia Police Force
(c) No.
(d)-(f) Not applicable.
