I refer to the Taxi User Subsidy Scheme (TUSS), and I ask: (a) Is the Minister aware of reports that taxi drivers at Perth airport are refusing to accept TUSS Vouchers; (b) Have any complaints been lodged with the Department of Transport; (c) If so, how many; and (d) Can the Minister detail what action has occurred in response to complaints?

(a)    Yes, my office received and responded to a complaint received in March 2024.
(b)    Yes.
(c)     One since 1 January 2024.
(d)    For both the complaint made to the Minister and the complaint lodged with the Department of Transport, there was insufficient evidence to apply any formal penalties for fare refusals. The Department provided education to the drivers to improve their understanding of the TUSS process and where to find more information or help.
