I refer to the Minister's answers to Estimates questions in relation to bus electrification, in which it was stated that "a better approach was to maximise the use of off-peak period charging using the Western Power network which is supported by thousands of residential homes with solar panels which produce excess power into the grid", and I ask: (a) can the Minister provide the modelling or report outlining the calculations used to come to this conclusion; (b) does this modelling factor in potential declines in excess power into the grid due to the uptake of home battery systems; and (c) if yes to (b), what is the assumed impact?
