For each of the financial years 2013-14, 2014-15
and 2015-16 can the Minister provide: (a) the total dollar amount spent on temporary
workers by each department or agency under the Minister's control; (b) the total number of temporary worker contracts by agency
and their position and level; (c) how many temporary workers are currently
employed in each department or agency under the Minister's control; and (d) how many temporary workers have worked in the same
position for longer than 6 months?

(a-d) The Public Sector Commission has advised there is no accepted government definition of a “temporary worker”. In order to answer this question, the Member will need to provide further detail on the nature of the employment contracts in question.
