(b) VenuesWest core business is Venue Management. Ticketing events across the suite of venues at Perth Arena, nib Stadium, HBF Stadium, HBF Arena, WA basketball Centre, WA Athletics Stadium, Midvale SpeedDome and Champion Lakes occurs on a regular basis. Having contracts in place which specify the provision of hospitality, VIP or corporate box access or general admission tickets is part of the process of Venue Management. For instance a Venue Manager will retain the right to utilise a very small part of the ticket inventory to facilitate relocation of patrons who for operational reasons are required to move from their allocated seats.
Rather than attempting to detail all of the contracts that are in place to facilitate attendance at ticketed events I am happy to provide the member with some background and context to this activity.
