854. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the Minister for Indigenous Affairs:
I refer to Buru Energy Ltd.
(1) Is the
minister aware that Buru Energy has damaged a number of culturally sensitive
and sacred sites in its Canning Basin exploration tenement at Ungani ?
(2) If yes to (1), what action has
been taken by the department?
(3) If no to (1),
will the minister seek to have further Buru operations halted until the cause
has been established and mitigated?
