(1) Further to the Minister’s media statement of 13 February 2004, does the Minister have actual or indicative numbers of small holdings (properties of 100 hectares or smaller) within all local Government areas on the Swan Coastal Plain?
(2) If yes, will the Minister provide a list of each local Government area showing the number of small holdings?
(3) If no, on what basis has the new information service been launched to service the Peel-Harvey area and not elsewhere on the Swan Coastal Plain around Bunbury/Busselton or elsewhere in the South West around towns such as Manjimup or Albany?

(2) A listing of small landholding numbers for each local Government area is being prepared by the Department of Agriculture and will be provided to Mr Masters. (3) I am pleased to have the opportunity to enlighten members about the Department of Agriculture's innovative Small Landholder Information Service which was launched on 13 February. While the launch was held at Pinjarra, the Small Landholder Information Service will ultimately service the entire State. It is initially concentrating on the higher density areas like the near-Metro, Peel-Harvey and Busselton areas but will expand to other areas as soon as is practical. Generic services such as information bulletins and the website are available to all landholders. Briefings have already been held with key small landholder and natural resource management contacts in areas ranging from Northam to Busselton to ensure an effective roll out of the program.
