I refer to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), and ask -
(1) How many FTE positions are allocated to each of the following CAMHS in the, -
(a) South West;
(b) Wheatbelt;
(c) Great Southern;
(d) Goldfields;
(e) Pilbara;
(f) Kimberley; and
(g) Midwest?
(2) For each of the regions identified in (1), how many of the FTE positions are, -
(a) psychologists (specify type, for example, clinical, child, autism);
(b) psychiatrists (specify type, for example, clinical, paediatric);
(c) paediatrians;
(d) speech therapists;
(e) counsellors;
(f) dieticians;
(g) social workers;
(h) nurses (specify type, for example, clinical, registered, enrolled, mental health nurse); and
(i) other (specify)?
(3) In relation to each of the regions identified in (1),
(a) what is the child (under the age of 24) population;
(b) by region, what is the length of waiting times for each of the services; and
(c) how many children are on waiting lists for the following services;
(i) mental health assessments;
(ii) counselling;
(iii) psychology services;
(iv) psychiatry services;
(v) speech therapy services;
(vi) paediatric services; and
(vii) other (specify)?
(4) Why do the North and South Metropolitan areas have a ICAYMHS and the South West region only have a CAMHS, and what is the difference between the two services?
(5) I refer to Child Development Services provided in the metropolitan area ,and ask, -
(a) why are there no Child Development Services in the South West region; and
(b) what services are provided by Child Development Services?
