Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to the 2013–14 enhanced voluntary separation
program.
(1) Could the
Premier provide a demographic breakdown in relation to the 1 112 employees who
received a redundancy payment under the scheme in terms of —
(a) gender;
(b) metropolitan or regional
location; and
(c) age distribution?

(1) (a) Female, 624; and male, 488.
(b) Metropolitan, 987; and
regional 125.
(c) Age
distribution: 16–20 years, zero; 21–30 years, 17; 31–40
years, 102; 41–50 years, 140; 51–60 years, 369; and 61-plus
years, 484. That brings the total to 1 112.
