MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS — BALDIVIS
1280. Hon SUE ELLERY to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
(1) What is the
total number of motor vehicle accidents, including a breakdown of fatalities,
that have occurred at the following intersections in Baldivis over the past
three years —
(a) Mandurah Road–Fifty
Road;
(b) Kerosene Lane–Baldivis
Road; and
(c) Kulija Road–Millar
Road West?
(2) Are any of
the above intersections formally recognised by Main Roads as black spots; and,
if so, which intersections?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The total
number of motor vehicle accidents over the last three years is provided below —
(a) Mandurah Road–Fifty
Road intersection has had four motor vehicle crashes.
(b) Kerosene Lane–Baldivis
Road intersection has had seven motor vehicle crashes.
(c) Kulija Road–Millar
Road West intersection has had one motor vehicle crash.
There have been
no fatalities at any of these intersections during that time.
(2) Both Mandurah
Road–Fifty Road intersection and Kerosene Lane–Baldivis Road
intersection meet the criteria for the state black spot program.
