(2) For each of those years how many of those samples were taken from charged persons? (3) For each of those years how many were taken from victims? (4) For each of those years how many were taken from other parties? (5) For each of those years, how many DNA profiles from charged persons were added to the National DNA database? (6) For each of those years, how many charged persons who qualified under law to have a DNA sample taken did not have a DNA sample taken by Western Australian Police?

Criminal Investigation (Identifying People) Act 2002.
The terms 'Volunteers (limited)', 'Volunteers (unlimited)' and 'Involved Persons' are used and it is not possible to identify victims of crime from the statistics.

(5) This is not under the Western Australia Police jurisdiction. Please refer this question to the Minister for Health.
(6) The responses to this question would take a significant amount of time to manually collate. A substantial audit of multiple systems which do not specifically report against the criteria would be required. Therefore the Commissioner of Police has advised he is not prepared to divert valuable resources away from core policing activities to undertake the necessary audit.
