On behalf of the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health, I thank the member for some notice of this question.  The minister has provided the following response - (1) I assume the member is referring to the Child and Community Health Directorate in the Department of Health. (a) Currently 24 positions are occupied in the directorate. (b) The directorate was being established at that time, so direct FTE comparisons are not appropriate. (2)-(3) All budgets within the health system are being reviewed and prioritised to ensure funding into areas of greatest need to provide direct health benefits to the community.  No budget area has been quarantined.
