I refer to recent actions by the State Government to remove or replace the word “women” in legislation, policy documents and official guidance, as well as to the State Government’s website description of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project, and I ask: (a) has the Department sought or received advice from any clinical colleges, hospitals (including King Edward Memorial Hospital), clinicians, or external stakeholders recommending or supporting the removal or replacement of the word “Women” in the hospital’s name: (i) if yes to (a), will the Minister table that advice?
