COTTIER
APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT — STAGE 1
943. Mr F.M. LOGAN to the
Minister for Housing:
This is an easy one for the minister; we will see if he can
get this one.
I refer to the completion of the taxpayer-funded $25 million
Cottier apartment stage 1 development in South Hedland and the minister's
comments of 3 June 2013 when he stated —
The development will offer a range
of housing options with the majority of apartments for sale to the general
public.
(1) How many of the 44 apartments paid for by WA taxpayers
have been sold to the general public?
(2) How many
of the 44 apartments are currently occupied through public housing tenancies, Government
Regional Officers' Housing or private leases?

I thank the
member for the question.
(1)–(2)
I have those notes buried here. I do not know what the current stage of Cottier
apartments is —
Mr B.J. Grylls interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Member for Pilbara!
Mr W.R. MARMION : I
can provide the exact figures of which ones are sold and at what price. It is
another example of our investment in Port Hedland, which is designed to
increase the affordability of housing in the sector—something that we
are very proud of. I am happy to provide the figures.
