The royal commission will make
recommendations about all these matters. We called the royal commission. The
issues confronting Crown were occurring when the member was in office, when the
opposition was in government. We saw the outcome of the New South Wales inquiry
and we put in place a royal commission to look at the issues. It is the first
royal commission in Western Australia in 20 years or so. Therefore, we have
actually taken action on these issues.
In
terms of who the chair of the Gaming and Wagering Commission is, obviously,
that is something we will consider in due course, but our record is very
clear. We have taken very strong steps to deal with any issues of propriety in
relation to the casino, with the first royal commission in 20 years.
