(1) After the
land for wildlife programXXX ###XXXs revised mode of
operation, how many staff members will be allocated by the Department of Parks
and Wildlife to manage the program?

operations being revised, was an evaluation of the program undertaken?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) While
details of the revised mode of operation have not been finalised, it is
currently envisaged that a central coordinator will manage the program in
conjunction with regional community partnership arrangements.
(2) Land for
wildlife makes a significant contribution to biodiversity conservation in
Western Australia and will continue to do so through encouraging and
facilitating wildlife conservation on private land. The program was evaluated
in terms of its cost and efficiency of delivery.
