PREMIER —
GOVERNMENT HOUSE VISIT
191. Hon MICHAEL MISCHIN to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the report by Nathan
Hondros in WAtoday dated 18 March 2019, which quotes a spokeswoman for the
Governor's establishment confirming that the Premier and his family
spent a night at Government House for ''both business and social reasons''.
(1) On what date
did the Premier and his family stay at Government House?
(2) For what
business reasons or event did the Premier and his family spend the night at
Government House?
(3) For what
social reasons did the Premier and his family spend the night at Government
House?
(4) Did any other
members of Parliament attend the event that involved the Premier visiting
Government House on that occasion; and, if so, who?
(5) Did any
members of the public attend the event that involved the Premier visiting
Government House on that occasion?
(6) If yes to
(5), who was listed on the Premier's day sheet or event run sheet as
attending the event?
(7) Is this the
only occasion on which the Premier or his family spent the night at Government
House; and, if not, can the details sought in parts (1) to (6) be provided for
those other occasions?
Several members
interjected.
The PRESIDENT : Order! If you
want questions answered, you will behave yourselves; otherwise, it might be a bit
interesting how we manage this today.
