PEAK-PERIOD TAXIS
(1) Is the minister aware that transferable peak-period taxi operators have been disadvantaged by the flooding of the market with government plates? (2) Is the minister aware that this disadvantage means that peak-period taxi operators cannot attract drivers or lessees for their taxis? (3) Given that the peak-period taxi operators cannot find drivers, will the Department for Planning and Infrastructure continue to fine owners for not operating their taxis? (4) If yes to (3), why? (5) Will the minister indicate whether she is prepared to negotiate with the transferable peak-period taxi operators group to resolve this impasse? (6) If no to (5), why not; and if yes, when? Hon ADELE FARINA
