I refer to the management of production animals by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) under the Animal Welfare Act 2002 , and I ask: (a) has DPIRD received any complaints or notifications regarding cattle welfare in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes in the calendar years 2024, or 2025, to date; (b) if yes to (a), on what dates were they received; (c) if yes to (a), what locations did they refer to; (d) if yes to (a), what actions did DPIRD take for each complaint or notification; (e) if yes to (a), which cases have been resolved or closed; (f) if yes to (a), are there any outstanding complaints which are still being investigated; and (g) if yes to (f), how many?
