I refer to your answer to a question without notice regarding the proposed Albany to Bunbury pipeline on 29 June 2016 and I ask: (a) on what specific date did you first become aware that there was, or there was likely to be, an unsolicited bid to build the Bunbury to Albany gas pipeline; (b) on what specific date did you first see the unsolicited bid to build the Bunbury to Albany gas pipeline; (c) was the unsolicited bid to build the Bunbury to Albany gas pipeline presented to you or to your agency by the proponent, and if it was to your agency, were you present when the bid was submitted; and (d) has the unsolicited bid to build the Bunbury to Albany gas pipeline been referred to the Bunbury to Albany Gas Pipeline Project Steering Committee, and if so, who are the members of the steering Committee, and when have they met since 15 June 2016?

(a)        The Department of State Development (the Department) advised my ministerial office of an imminent unsolicited proposal on 4 April 2016.
(b)        The Department provided a copy of the proposal to my ministerial office on 1 July 2016.
(c)        The proposal was presented to the Department on 17 June 2016. I was not present.
(d)       No. As noted in response to Question on Notice 5388, the Project Steering Committee was suspended in November 2013.
